From job creation to
talent selection.
Designing the employer-side experience for a short-term staffing marketplace.
At Zenjob, I worked on the B2B side of a two-sided talent marketplace. Companies used the platform to create and publish short-term jobs, review matched talent, select preferred candidates, and follow the hiring process. My responsibility was to help make this process clearer, faster, and more scalable for employers and internal operational teams.

A multi-step, multi-stakeholder hiring flow.
Creating and filling a short-term job involved several steps and multiple stakeholders. Employers needed a fast, confident path through job creation and talent selection — while internal operations teams needed reliable workflows and visibility to support customers without relying on excessive manual work.
- Define the job and shift requirements
- Reuse existing job templates
- Publish roles to the marketplace
- Review available talent
- Identify preferred or favourite talent
- Understand where candidates were in the process
- Make decisions quickly enough to fill urgent shifts

Order Management vertical.
I owned the employer-facing side of the marketplace end to end — from strategy and discovery through delivery, automation, and stakeholder alignment.
The employer journey, end to end.
Create a job
Employers could define the role, location, shift time, requirements, and other relevant details.
Reuse templates
Companies could use existing templates to avoid repeatedly entering the same information for similar jobs.
Publish to the marketplace
The job could be made available to suitable short-term talent.
Review talent
Employers could review talent connected to the job and understand their status within the process.
Select preferred talent
Companies could identify favourite or preferred talent to support faster and more confident decisions.
Track the process
Employers and operational teams gained clearer visibility into the progress of the job and its associated talent.
"For employers, the product was not simply a job-posting form. It was an operational decision workflow that had to connect job creation, talent availability, selection, and fulfilment."

Three sides of the marketplace to balance.
Product decisions had to account for the full marketplace rather than optimising only one user experience.
Employers
Needed speed, visibility, suitable talent, and a simple workflow.
Short-term talent
Needed clear job information and a reliable application and selection experience.
Internal operations teams
Needed structured processes, status visibility, and fewer manual interventions.
Finding where the process actually broke.
The aim was to understand where employers became blocked, which steps generated manual work, and where automation could improve the end-to-end process.
Designing for scale, not manual intervention.
A major part of the work was identifying where recurring operational tasks could be replaced by clearer product workflows and automation.
By improving the underlying order-management journey, the team reduced avoidable operational effort and created a more scalable process for managing jobs and talent.
Contributed to automation initiatives that reduced repeated manual work across the order-management lifecycle.
